I welcome visitors to the workshop. Come see completed rockers in person, sit in a chair, review wood and finish samples, go over measurements and options, and discuss your custom rocker project face to face.
Current Availability
🪑 Custom Rockers: Your rocker takes up to 12 weeks to construct and for the finish to cure once your slot opens. Current wait list is approximately 14 weeks – plan on about 24-26 weeks total from order to completion.
What to Include in Your Message
The more specific you can be in your first message, the faster I can give you a useful answer. There are no wrong questions, but a few details up front make the conversation much smoother:
For a Custom Rocker
- Who the chair is for, and roughly how tall they are
- Where the chair will live (porch, sun room, living room, etc.) so we can talk through indoor vs. outdoor wood and finish
- Any preferences on wood species (white oak, cherry, walnut) or paint colors
- Whether you want cup holders, plain armrests, or a tumbler-style holder
- Your timeline—whether the chair is for a specific occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, or holiday
For a Restoration
- What the piece is (type, approximate age, family history if any)
- What’s wrong with it—loose joints, missing parts, finish damage, etc.
- A few photos if possible (corners, joints, and any damaged areas)
- Whether you want a full restoration or a more conservative repair
- Where the piece is located and whether you can deliver it to Lexington, SC
For Other Projects
- A short description of what you have in mind
- Approximate size or dimensions if known
- Intended use and where it will be placed

How long does a custom rocker take?
Approximately 24-26 weeks from order to completion—construction followed by finishing and cure time.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. For customers outside the local area I recommend TSI Shipping, which provides white glove service with lift gate delivery to residential addresses. Local pickup and delivery within 50 miles of Lexington, SC (zip 29072) is free.
What if I’m not local to South Carolina?
No problem—many clients are nationwide. You can submit your measurements online from home, and consultations are handled via phone, video call, and email.
How does payment work?
50% deposit at order, and 50% at completion before delivery or pickup. Payments are processed securely through Square—you’ll receive an invoice or payment link by email.
Can I visit the workshop before ordering?
Absolutely—I encourage it. Email to arrange a convenient time. You can see completed rockers, review wood and finish samples, and discuss your project in person.
